Just over a year ago, we were having drinks at the mamak listening to her iPod. She just added in the violin to her track, Lightwriting. Yesterday, she officially releases her debut album to an eager crowd of some 300 fans at the Bentley Auditorium. I am very proud of her and I’m honored to call her my friend.

Pesawat performing at a charity gig at Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar (KTJ). Awesome awesome crowd. Funds are raised for the refugees in Malaysia and will be donated to the The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). A big thanks to the organizers and especially to Ajie and Sabrina, who graciously attended to the band and me while we were there.
