Eleena, 25, is a freelance photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Known as Ena by her peers, she took up photography during her second year in university while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
What began as an interest in macro photography has evolved into a passion for fashion and portraitures. It was all thanks to her housemate-cum-muse-cum-bestfriend who became not only her model, but also her make-up artist. In the recent years, she has worked with local TV and music personality such as Hunny Madu, Henry Golding and Aishah Sinclair, as well as corporations such as Astro (for Akademi Fantasia), Gamestop (USA) and BRE Properties (USA). Her work has been featured in various publications such as KLue Magazine, Applied Imaging and local newspapers.
During her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends, editing pictures in Photoshop, sleeping and enjoying a nice coffee at Alexis. She’s also one-stop-centre for Mac/Blackberry related questions or problems. She’s one proud female geek. *adjust her non-existant glasses as she says this* She hopes that one fine day she will turn into a professional photographer. One. Fine. Day. As of November 2009, Ena is a full-time photographer ready to serve client’s needs.
