More Film Play

Waa post Stonebay shoot.

Ok. Either my modem/router is dead due to the heavy lightning this afternoon (crap) or Streamyx is down. I’m hoping its the latter as I do not want to spend yet another RM200 for a brand new router. It’s like a trend that reoccurs every 3 months. Sheesh. When will I learn?

So I guess I’ll just post a sneak preview instead (Well turns out the upload speed using my Blackberry as a modem isn’t so bad after all). Pictures were taken with Lomo LC-A – colors were not as goo-goo-ga-ga as the color slides I posted earlier but that’s expected. Nonetheless I still love the unexpectedness of shooting on film and the grain. Not to mention the blurred out shots.

D90 Video Test

hands..

Had a chance to play around with a friend’s D90 on Monday night. And since I had another friend (Syazman) who just bought his D90 too, I decided to give it a quick test by having a short interview. Video on DSLR is all the craze right now. Dear Family & Friends, can I have a Canon 5DMarkII for Raya this year?

Totally unrelated to the above but I needed to post at least one photo to work with the new theme. Heh. My friend has pretty hands… though she complains it looks manly. Pft.

Rainy day with the Stonebay

Stonebay Shoot

What a rainy day it was in KL today. Tagged along Waa who had a shoot with the local indie band Stonebay at downtown KL – and I mean really downtown. I successfully drove there and back without getting lost! Hey. It’s an achievement ok? (Ok. I probably cheated a bit. Waa gave me precise directions on where to turn. Hehe) Before we could even start on the shoot, the rain came pouring down hard. Gosh. Think it was a good hour when the rain finally subsided. By then it was hello drenched jeans and hello migraine.

Didn’t stay long as I had another appointment which finally materialize after breaking fast. Me, Khairul and Helmi took the camera out to downtown KL (yes again) but this time it was BB walk and Jalan Alor area. I don’t think I’m much of a street shooter but I try nonetheless. I’m a shy gal… and well shooting on the streets takes guts don’t you think so?

I think I’m babbling. Sorry guys. I’ll try to be informative next time. Do ask questions if you have any. I’d be happy to answer them :) And to all Muslims, Selamat Berpuasa!
